Build a Gingerbread House with Chef Riedl

Go beyond the kit and create something uniquely yours!

Join Chef Riedl for a hands-on gingerbread house workshop where you'll learn professional tips and techniques for building, decorating, and designing a gingerbread creation that doesn't look like everyone else's.

Gingerbread kits are fun—but they can also be limiting! We'll show you how to think beyond the box, add architectural details, work with royal icing, create textures and decorations, and turn a simple gingerbread house into your own imaginative creation.

Have Halloween candy left over? Bring it! This is the perfect opportunity to transform those leftover sweets into windows, pathways, rooftops, trees, fences, and all kinds of edible details.

We'll provide the gingerbread house materials and decorating basics. You're welcome—and encouraged—to bring additional candies or decorations you'd love to incorporate.
