A café, board game lounge, and dry bar.

Gnomies is a cozy, community-centered café, board game lounge, and dry bar designed for connection. We serve thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic botanical drinks, quality coffee, and farm-to-table foods in a welcoming space where you can gather, play, and slow down—without the pressure to drink alcohol.
Beyond our daily café offerings, we host creative workshops, classes, and special dining events that bring people together in meaningful and playful ways. Whether you're meeting friends, bringing family, or joining game night, Gnomies is an affordable, all-ages space to feel at home and belong.

What is a dry bar? A dry bar is a social gathering space that serves creative, healthy alcohol-free beverages designed for connection and enjoyment. Some people call them mocktails — but we’re not mocking anything. We’re simply crafting bold, botanical drinks that stand confidently on their own, celebrating flavor, fun, and healthy hydration just as we are.
Expanded hours coming soon. Currently open Fri, Sat, and Sunday!
Growing with Intention:
Our Phased Opening
We’re opening Gnomies in thoughtful phases to ensure quality, sustainability, and a truly magical experience from the very beginning. Rather than rushing to launch everything at once, we’re building each layer with care as we roll out the many exciting offerings planned for this year.
We hope you’ll be part of our growth as we work toward our Grand Opening on June 21, 2026 — National Garden Gnome Day! What better way to celebrate Gnomies?

Gnomies April Featured Beverages & A Little Update
Spring is just beginning to whisper its way in, and at Gnomies we’re celebrating with our April Featured Beverages—inspired by that early, “just starting to bloom” feeling. I've officially opened our doors for my soft opening, and I am now about 20 days in since welcoming my very first customer. As I move into the end of March, I’m excited to share that I have some handcrafted beverages here and ready to be enjoyed. If you’ve been curious, this is a perfect time to stop in, have a sip, and experience the space as it continues to come to life.
First Bloom Lemonades
Our First Bloom Lemonades celebrate the quiet return of spring—fresh citrus, herbs, and botanicals crafted to awaken the senses. Light, playful, and rooted in nature—just like Gnomies.
Blush & Bloom Lemonade
Hibiscus, rose, pomegranate, and orange citrus come together in a soft floral awakening—like the first blush of spring.
Dandelion Daydream
Dandelion tea, honey, lemon zest, and spring water create a gentle nod to wild spring fields—soft, nostalgic, and quietly bright.
Garden Awakening
Muddled thyme, mint, and ginger with a splash of light bubbles—fresh herbs and citrus that wake up the senses like a garden just beginning to grow.
Fairy Godfather
Pathfinder botanical bitters and toasted almond Amaretti meet fresh orange and sparkling seltzer. Finished with orange and cherry for a smooth, citrus-kissed sip with a hint of nostalgic warmth—and a touch of sparkle.

Get to Know Gnomies
Gnomies was founded by Susan Riedl, a trained chef, artist, and community-builder with deep roots in the art, mental health field, and restaurant industry. The name Gnomies is in honor of her mother who loved gardening, wild flowers, and gnomes.
Susan is classically trained in French cuisine, with a passion for pastry and baking, Susan is known for creating thoughtful, layered flavor profiles that feel both comforting and intriguing. Alongside her culinary background, she is an artist, and registered art therapist who believes deeply in the power of creativity, connection, and shared experiences to support mental health, wellness, and a sense of belonging.
Inspired by New Hampshire’s more than 4,000 local farms, Susan’s return to the restaurant world is driven by a commitment to supporting local agriculture while nourishing the health and wellbeing of the community. Gnomies brings these values together—art, food, and connection—within a whimsical, cozy café inspired by gnome folklore, European traditions, and playful American spirit. With Bavarian influences meeting approachable, modern flavors, Gnomies is a place where creativity is celebrated, ingredients are intentional, and gathering is the heart of everything.

Our Journey
Gnomies Woodland Fountain began as a small pop-up lemonade stand in New Hampshire in 2025, evolving into a café that celebrates the joy of community and natural foods. Our enchanting gnome theme creates a unique atmosphere perfect for gatherings and learning. We’re committed to fostering connections with local farms and promoting food literacy through delightful experiences.
You can catch us in the community as a pop-up vendor during local events like the CAM markets, Renaissance Faire, and Mulitcultural events.
